How to get your Midwest Chihuahuas puppy home

**Please note that we do not charge any additional charge for these services beyond our
own actual costs. We will, however, gratefully accept any gratuities from our families for
our willingness to help deliver your puppy to you!

Here at Midwest Chihuahuas we believe in giving options to our families when it comes to
getting their new addition to their home. We realize that different families have different
schedules and needs and we try to accommodate our families to the best of our abilities.

You have the option to drive to pick up your puppy. In these cases, you may either come to our
home in Barton Country, Kansas (near Great Bend, Kansas) or we can meet you up to 175 miles from our home (each direction).

In the cases of us traveling to meet you, we ask that you be responsible for our expenses for this
trip including gas and toll costs both directions and lodging if required for the time you choose
for pickup.

You have the option to fly to the following airports to pick up your puppy: Salina Kansas, Hays Kansas or Wichita Kansas.

In these cases, we will happily meet you at the airport and make sure that everything is confirmed and approved for you to take your baby back with you IN CABIN.

We only allow our babies to fly in the airplane cabin with you, regardless of season.

You will find most airlines are very accommodating to this and will charge you a small fee to take your puppy home in your airline approved carrier. Charges for veterinary services needed for your Chihuahua's flight including appointment, health certificate, airline approved carrier and our expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. In our experience, our Chihuahuas travel VERY WELL on flights.

AIRLINES REQUIRE THAT YOUR PET STAY IN ITS CARRIER UNDER THE SEAT IN FRONT OF YOU BY YOUR FEET ON YOUR FLIGHT. THIS IS THE STANDARD IN THE AIRLINE INDUSTRY. ONLY SERVICE ANIMALS (NOT EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS) ARE PERMITTED OUT OF A CARRIER.

You have the option to have us DELIVER your puppy to you at your local airport.

In these cases when our puppy's future families just cannot manage to leave town to get their
new addition, we will, at the buyers expense, fly your puppy IN CABIN to your airport of choice,
meet you there and then return back to our home.

Buyer is responsible for flight expenses and overnight lodging near your airport of choice
prior to return flight from your airport to our trip home.

Charges for veterinary services needed for your Chihuahua's flight including appointment, health certificate, airline approved carrier and our expenses are the responsibility of the buyer.

In all cases, buyer is required to pay our fuel and any toll fees to and from any airport to make the trip for you as well as a $100 charge us to deliver your puppy as a convivence fee. Hotels for overnight stay must be pet friendly and include an airport shuttle when flying to you in order to deliver your puppy.

Delivery: In cases where our new homes live less than 200 miles from our home, door to door delivery by car may be available to you. This is contingent upon if we have other small puppies at the home needing our attention and assistance. We do, of course require you pay our actual physical expenses, but this is often a wonderful option! We also offer to meet at a 'midway' location by car. This location can be decided upon mutually.

We work hard to make sure you get the puppy of your dreams so never let the fact we are in Kansas and you are in another state be a hinderance to you. We work with our families!

Shipping and Delivery Options

*For our friends in the Carribean, South America, Europe and the Russian Federation,
we require in cabin shipping options. When absolutely necessary we can, airline fees
paid, deliver your baby to you at your local airport. Please contact us if you live out of the
United States and we can work to get a Midwest Chihuahuas puppy into your home!
