Thanks for considering your puppy from Midwest Chihuahuas

When planning on picking up your Chihuahua from us (or any breeder) and flying back in cabin with your baby, there are things to consider.  Airlines require a reservation for your in-cabin pet as they limit the amount that are permitted on each flight.  Also, when booking low-cost airfare (best flying into Cleveland Hopkins International Airport CLE or Akron-Canton Airport CAK) it is best to know the cost of your pets ticket as they vary per airline.  These costs are current as of the beginning of April of 2015.  SOME AIRLINES REQUIRE A HEALTH CERTIFICATE DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE FLYING, CHECK WHEN MAKING RESERVATIONS AS TO REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DAY OF FLYING.  We recommend the soft sided carriers as they tend to more universally fit.  Remember your pup must be able to stand up, turn around and lie down in the carrier you choose.  ALL AIRLINES REQUIRE FAA APPROVED CARRIERS. These can be purchased online, at pet stores and oftentimes at stores like K-mart or Wal-Mart.  Please check for an Airline Approved tag when buying!
