Honey's Queen Ginger Snap (Ginger)
Honey's Queen Ginger Snap - CKC/APRI/CPR
Ginger is a wonderful brindle girl with white markings (on her chest, feet and a tad around her mouth). Ginger is a complete sweetheart. I never fear her being around anyone and really likes Dennis' neice and nephew who are only 3 and 2! I sometimes think she is the smartest of our girls...when it is cold you will find Ginger in her sweater laying on the carpet in front of the heater vent. She's no dummy, she likes the warm and who can blame her? She is a sweet southern girl coming to us from Honey's Chihuahuas of Tennessee. Ginger is a short cobby Chihuahua who weighs in now just shy of 5.5#. Ginger's ear tips dropped when she had her first litter, however, all of her puppies have had standing ears as she used to. She free whelps and has been a great Mom and produced lovely Chihuahua children. :) She is a great dog, friend and companion. We love Ginger and continue to expect greatness from her!
Ginger's Litters
Ginger has had two litters with us here at Midwest Chihuahuas. Ginger is known to produce lovely puppies and she produces more brindles than anything else. Ginger's puppies generally range from 4-5.5#, but sometimes we get smaller puppies when Rufus is the dad as he is currently. Ginger is our only guaranteed brindle producer, and we feel offers more attractive brindles than most (although we had some brindle puppies including a lovely reverse Chocolate brindle off Satinka) so if you are looking for a brindle Mom, look no further. All Ginger's pups end up cobby bodied, very short nosed, short legged and appleheaded.
Current Events
The year 2009 will bring greatness again from Ginger we are certain! Ginger is due to be in heat and mating in early February to Mason, our longcoated chocolate merle stud. This will be Mason's first opportunity to stud so we are excited and anxious to see what this proven beauty produces with our wonderful Mason born and raised here at Midwest.
Ginger already is at capacity for her waiting list for this litter. Contact us for information on Ginger's last mating which will be at the end of 2009.
