MooMoo's Breeding Future

MooMoo is currently bred to Rufus (repeat mating) and she is due on or about 22 January 2012.  

Midwest Chihuahuas MooMoo will be on break following this mating and not breed again until winter of 2012/2013.  That mating will likely be to Rajesh but a repeat breeding to Mason is possible.   We will choose that stud closer to her next scheduled breeding time.

Moo Moo has produced two litters of three and one litter of four prior to this current mating.  She is a free-whelper and takes excellent care of her babies.

The Basics

Pretty MooMoo is a fawn spotted on white Chihuahua with some blue sabling on her face and edges of the spotting on her beautiful bright white smoothcoat.  Standing an even 8" tall at the withers this small but cobby girl weighs in (not pregnant) at a healthy 4 lbs and 13 ounces full grown. This is a healthy weight for her, she is NOT thin.  Born May 05, 2007  photos of this little girl give the appearance of wideset ears but this is not the case so much as she is being challenging to photograph.  MooMoo has a scizzor bite, nice topline and very symetrical overall build making her an asset to the Midwest Chihuahuas family!

MooMoo's Personality

Sweet and shadowlike, MooMoo enjoys companionship.  Whether it be adult, child or other pets you will rarely find MooMoo in a room by herself.  During the evening time when we are relaxing on the couch, oftentimes MooMoo will be found perched on the top of the couch between our heads, asleep.  A happy companion MooMoo is not shy but rather a happy and playful girl with a spunky personality that you can't help to be captivated by!


MooMoo's Production History

MooMoo produced one litter prior to her arrival at Midwest Chihuahuas and has had one litter here, sired by Rufus.  She has produced healthy pups in the following colors:

  • Blue fawn spotted on white 
  • Cream spotted on white
  • Black spotted on white
  • Black tri-color spotted on white (LC)
  • Red with black and brindle markings (LC)*
  • Blue and white (stillborn, probable LC)
  • Black tri-color heavy spotted on white 
  • Black tri-color (LC)
  • Red sable spotted on white (LC)
  • Fawn with black mask
